Data Security on non functional product is just as important as data security on functional product. Hard drives from non functional machines can be removed and read using alternative machines, meaning products scrapped through non secure channels are open to data theft.

Re-Tek will ensure that all hard drives from non functional products will be destroyed in our facility. Our standard destruction process is via de-gaussing to CESG standard, however we also offer a hard drive crushing service if required. In each case, a full serial number report and certificates of data destruction are available giving a fully audit trail for asset disposal.
